Creating a Merchant Profile

This article explains how to create merchant profiles, allowing you to create and manage orders on behalf of your merchants.

What Is a Merchant?

A merchant is the business on whose behalf you manage and deliver orders.


The Key Step

Before you can start managing a merchant's orders, you'll first need to create a profile for this merchant inside your workspace.


How Is This Achieved?

Creating a merchant profile is achieved from the Merchants page, where you can add each business you deliver orders on behalf of and maintain its information.

When creating a new merchant profile, you'll be asked to provide the following information:

  • Merchant Name – The name of the business you want to create a profile for.

  • Shipping Method(s) – The shipping method(s) you want to assign to this merchant, representing the services and SLAs you offer to them.

Note: The available shipping methods are those you previously created on the Shipping Methods page within your Settings.


Merchant Profile Visibility

Once a merchant profile is created successfully, it will appear as a new entry on the Merchants page.

From there, you can access the merchant profile at any time to manage its information, locations, and other merchant-related settings.
