Extra Actions You Can Take on Your Vehicles

FleetRunnr provides a set of extra actions that allow you to manage your vehicles with full visibility and control.

These actions are mainly used by fleet managers to quickly access, update, and maintain essential vehicle information across their workspace.


Accessing These Actions

First, you should access the vehicles page by doing the following:

  • From your portal’s Dashboard, click Fleet.

  • Inside the Fleet module, use the left-side navigation menu and select Vehicles to access the vehicles page.


How are These Actions Taken

You can perform these actions in two ways:

  1. By using the top bulk action bar, which allows you to take actions on multiple vehicles at the same time.


  2. By using the three-dots menu on the far right of each individual vehicle row, which lets you take actions specifically on that vehicle only.


Actions Available

Edit

Available through: Three-Dots Menu (one vehicle only)

This action allows you to update a single vehicle’s information, including:

  • Required and optional fields

  • Costs

  • Advanced settings

  • Vehicle specifications

This method is best when you only need to update one vehicle.

Bulk Edit

Available through: Top Bulk Action Bar (multiple vehicles at once)

This action allows you to edit multiple vehicles simultaneously. You can update:

  • Required and optional vehicle information

  • Vehicle costs

  • Advanced configurations

  • Vehicle specifications

This method is ideal when applying the same changes to many vehicles at once.

Note: The edit form appears blank by default, and any value you enter is applied to all selected vehicles.

Remove Vehicles

Available through: Top Bulk Action Bar (multiple vehicles at once) and Three-Dots Menu (one vehicle only)

This action allows you to permanently remove vehicles from your workspace.

  • Using the Bulk Action Bar, you can remove multiple vehicles at once.

  • Using the Three-Dots Menu, you can remove a single vehicle individually.

This is useful when vehicles are no longer needed or should be removed from operations.

View Code (QR Code)

Available through: Three-Dots Menu (one vehicle only)

This displays the vehicle’s QR code, which drivers can scan using the FleetRunnr Agents app to assign the vehicle to themselves.
The QR code can also be downloaded or printed for physical use.

Note: If a Driver Assignment Pool is configured, only drivers in that pool can assign the vehicle.

Assignment History

Available through: Three-Dots Menu (one vehicle only)

This action shows a full history of a vehicle's assignments and unassignments, including:

  • Type of action

  • Date and time

  • Driver involved

  • User who performed the action (if the vehicle wasn't self-assigned)

This helps with auditing and tracking vehicle usage.
