In order to handle and manage your operations within FleetRunnr, one essential part of your initial setup is adding your vehicles to your workspace.
Creating these vehicles requires a specific subset of mandatory information—without entering this required data, the vehicle cannot be added to your account.
This article walks you through how to add vehicles to your workspace step by step.
Accessing the Vehicles Page
From your portal’s Dashboard, click Fleet.
Inside the Fleet module, use the left-side navigation menu and select Vehicles to access the vehicles page.
Creating a Vehicle
To create and add a new vehicle to your workspace:
Click the Create Vehicle button located at the top-right side of the Vehicles page.
A creation window will appear on the right side of your screen.
Within this window, you will need to provide the required information of the vehicle.
The Vehicle’s Required Information
All of the following vehicle information is required in order to create and add your vehicles to your FleetRunnr workspace:
1. License Plate – Enter the license plate number of the vehicle.
2. Type – Select the type of the vehicle. FleetRunnr offers five types of vehicles to choose from: Bicycle, Scooter, Car, Van, and Truck
3. Engine – Choose the engine powering this vehicle. The available engine types are: Diesel, Electric, Gasoline, and Hybrid
4. Color – Specify the color of the vehicle.
5. Make (Manufacturer) – Enter the name of the company that manufactured the vehicle (e.g., Toyota, Hyundai, Renault…).
6. Model – Type the model name of the vehicle (e.g., Corolla, Tucson, Kangoo…).
Note: If any of the required information is missing or not properly set up, you will not be able to finalize the vehicle creation process.
Additional (Optional) Information
• Year – Specify the year in which the vehicle’s model was released.
• Assigned Driver – You can assign a driver to this vehicle from the list of existing drivers. This field is optional as you may create a vehicle without assigning it to any driver initially.
Note: The drivers shown in this list here are the ones you have already added to your workspace.
