Understanding The Vehicles Page

The Vehicles page displays the complete list of vehicles you have created and added to your workspace. All vehicles are presented within a clear table view, showing their key details in a structured format.

This gives you full visibility and control over your fleet’s vehicles, allowing you to quickly review their specifications, assignments, and operational capacities.

This article helps you understand the purpose of the Vehicles page and how it can benefit your day-to-day fleet management.


How to access the vehicles page?

  • From your portal’s Dashboard, click Fleet.

  • Inside the Fleet module, use the left-side navigation menu and select Vehicles to access the vehicles page.


What’s on the vehicles page?

The Vehicles page provides a comprehensive list of all vehicles added to your workspace. Each vehicle is presented in a structured table format, displaying its key details for easy reference.

Inside the table view, each row represents a single vehicle you have added to your workspace.

This row includes multiple details related to the vehicle, spread across different columns.

These details are:

  • Plate Number – Displays the plate number of the vehicle.

  • Assigned Driver – Displays the name of the driver to whom the vehicle is assigned. If the vehicle is not assigned to any driver, the cell will display Unassigned.

  • Vehicle Color

  • Vehicle Type – FleetRunnr offers five types of vehicles, including: Bicycle, Scooter, Car, Van, and Truck

  • Engine Type – FleetRunnr offers four types of vehicle engines, including: Diesel, Gasoline, Electric, and Hybrid

  • Maker – The manufacturer of the vehicle

  • Model – The name of the vehicle’s model

  • Year – The year when this vehicle’s model was released

  • Maximum Volume and/or Maximum Weight (based on which one is configured)

  • Options – FleetRunnr offers six types of vehicle options: Heater, Cooler, Freezer, Lift, Narcotics, and POS Machine

  • Group – The group to which this vehicle belongs.

  • Tags – The tags you applied to the vehicle for internal data organization and segmentation.

Note: Some of these details may not appear in their corresponding cells within the table if they were not configured when setting up the vehicle.


Making the Most Out of Your Vehicles Page

Your Vehicles page gives you clear visibility over all vehicles in your workspace. There are several features within this page that help you use it efficiently and make the most out of it. These features include searching, sorting, filtering, and saving custom views.

Searching for Vehicles

You can quickly search for a vehicle using the search bar located at the top-right side of your screen.

Searching helps you locate vehicles faster and prevents unnecessary scrolling through long lists. You can search for vehicles by:

  • Plate Number

  • Maker (the company that manufactured the vehicle)


Sorting Your Vehicles

Sorting helps you organize your Vehicles list in the way that is most convenient for you.

This is possible through the ability to sort your vehicles by License Plate.

  • Click the “Sort” button located next to the Filters button.

  • In the window that appears, choose whether you want to sort your vehicles by the liscence plate from A–Z or from Z–A, and the list will update instantly.


Filtering Your Vehicles

You can refine your vehicle list using five types of filters, allowing you to narrow down the results based on specific criteria.

Filters help you focus on a specific subset of vehicles without manually searching through the full list.

Available filters include:

  • Driver – Filter your vehicles based on the driver assigned to each vehicle.

💡Tip: Without entering anything, you can tick the ‘Only Unassigned’ option to view all drivers who are not assigned to any vehicle.

  • Vehicle Type – Filter by type (Bicycle, Scooter, Car, Van, or Truck).

  • Group – Filter your vehicles based on the group to which they belong.

💡Tip: Without entering anything, you can tick the ‘Only Unassigned’ option to view all vehicles that aren’t a part of a group.

  • Tags – Filter using the tags you applied to your vehicles for better internal segmentation.

💡Tip: Without entering anything, you can tick the ‘Only Unassigned’ option to view all the vehicles that are assigned to any tag.

  • Options – Filter by vehicle options (Heater, Cooler, Freezer, Lift, Narcotics, POS Machine).


Creating and Saving Custom Views

If you frequently use the same filter combinations, you can save them as custom views. Custom Views help you personalize the vehicles page and access a specific set of vehicles in one click without having to apply the same filters every time.

How to Create a View

  1. Apply your desired filters.

  2. Click the ‘Save View’ button located right next to the ‘Filters’ button.

  3. Inside the window that appears to the left of the screen, Give the newly created view a name.

  4. Click the “Save” button at bottom right side of your screen to save the view.

After saving your view, it will appear in the views bar at the top of the vehicles page — right next to “All”, as shown in the screenshot below. You can click on the name of your saved view at any time to instantly access it.

Managing Your Views

As a part of managing your views, you can access extra actions for any saved view by clicking its name again while you're viewing it, as shown in the screenshot below.These extra actions include options to manage and organize your views such as:

  • Edit a saved view’s name.

  • Duplicate the view by creating a copy of it.

  • Move the view’s position on the views bar to the left or right as needed.

  • Delete a view if it’s no longer needed.

Note: You can edit the filters of any saved view at any time by:

  • Editing the desired filters within the view

  • Clicking Save Changes next to the Filter button
