FleetRunnr provides a set of actions that allow fleet managers and operators to manage drivers directly from the portal, giving full control and visibility over their operational status.
This article explains all the actions you can take on your drivers within the Drivers page of the Fleet module.
Understanding How Actions Are Applied
Some actions are available through both the bulk actions bar and the three-dot menu, while others can only be performed through one of these methods, depending on the action.
The way each method applies actions differs:
Through the bulk actions bar: Located at the top of the table, it allows actions to be performed on one or multiple selected drivers at once.
Through the three-dot menu: Accessible from the far right of each driver row, this menu applies actions to a single driver only.
On Duty / Off Duty
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar | Driver’s three dots
These actions allow you to manually set a driver as On Duty or Off Duty when the driver was unable to do so or forgot to perform the action through the Agents app.
By using the Bulk-Actions bar, you can update the status of one or multiple drivers at once, which is useful when managing attendance in bulk.
By using the three horizontal dots, you can update the status of a single driver individually when only one driver requires adjustment.
Bulk Edit Drivers
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar only
The Bulk Edit action allows you to update shared attributes for multiple drivers at the same time, making it ideal for large-scale updates. This action opens a panel on the right side of the screen where you can modify:
Work Time Limit
Group
Tags
The Bulk Edit panel is intentionally displayed as a blank form, as it is designed to apply new values only. Any field you fill in will overwrite that value for all selected drivers.
This method is especially useful when managing large driver lists and applying consistent changes in one step.
Edit Driver Information
Available through: Driver’s three dots only
This action allows you to update a single driver’s information, including:
Name
Phone number
Skills
Groups
External ID
This method is designed for individual driver updates, where precise edits are required.
Reset PIN
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar | Driver’s three dots
This action allows you to reset a driver’s account PIN if they forgot it.
Using the Bulk-Actions bar, you can reset the PIN for one or multiple drivers at once, which is useful when several drivers face access issues at the same time.
Note: When resetting multiple drivers at once, the system generates one PIN that applies to all selected drivers.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to reset PINs for multiple drivers at once.
Using the three horizontal dots, you can reset the PIN for a single driver individually.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to reset a driver’s PIN.
Once the driver successfully logs in using the reset PIN, they can change it to a custom PIN directly from their account settings within the Driver App.
This allows drivers to set a PIN of their choice instead of continuing to use the temporary one provided during the reset process.
Disable Driver
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar | Driver’s three dots
Disabling a driver prevents them from operating inside your workspace, while keeping their information in the active drivers list.
Using the Bulk-Actions bar, you can disable multiple drivers at once, which is useful for operational pauses or mass deactivations.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to disable multiple drivers at once.
Using the three horizontal dots, you can disable a single driver individually when needed.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to disable a driver.
⚠️ Note: A driver must be Off Duty before they can be disabled.
Enable Driver
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar | Driver’s three dots
This action reactivates a previously disabled driver, allowing them to continue operating within your workspace.
Using the Bulk-Actions bar, you can re-enable multiple drivers at once.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to enable multiple drivers at once.
Using the three horizontal dots, you can enable a single driver individually.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to enable a driver.
Once enabled, the driver’s status is set to Off Duty until they check in.
Archive Driver
Available through: Bulk-Actions bar | Driver’s three dots
Previously, removing a driver would permanently delete their profile, requiring you to recreate the driver and re-enter all their information if you wanted to add them again.
Now, archiving a driver removes them from active operations by preventing them from operating within your workspace. Their data is instead moved from the active drivers list to the Archived tab on the Drivers page.
Using the Bulk-Actions bar, you can archive multiple drivers at once.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to archive multiple drivers at once.
Using the three horizontal dots, you can archive a single driver individually.
👉 Follow the step-by-step guide to archive a driver.
⚠️ Note: A driver must be Off Duty before being archived.
Restore an Archived Driver
Available through: Archived tab
Previously, once a driver was removed, they could not be restored and had to be recreated from scratch if you wanted to add them again.
Now, archived drivers can be restored at any time from the Archived tab, allowing you to quickly reactivate them and add them back to the Drivers page without needing to recreate their profile or re-enter any information.
This action can be performed in two ways:
For a single driver, if you only need to restore one profile.
👉 Restore a single driver – View step-by-step guide
In bulk, if you want to restore multiple drivers at once.

Join Shift
Available through: Driver’s three dots only
This action allows a driver to join an assigned shift and become operational.
It is only relevant when the driver is On Duty and has an Active Shift.
Attendance History
Available through: Driver’s three dots only
This section shows a record of a driver’s on-duty and off-duty activity, including:
On-duty and off-duty events, each recorded as a separate, individual action
Date and time of each action
The name of the person who acted is displayed, whether it was the driver through the mobile app or a user who completed it on the driver’s behalf through the portal.
This helps with auditing and understanding driver activity over time.
