Understanding The Drivers Page

Updated today

The Drivers page gives you a complete overview of all drivers in your workspace. It allows you to easily search, filter, and organize your driver list using customizable table views.

This page is designed to help fleet managers quickly locate drivers, review their details, and navigate to further actions such as check-in, check-out, profile editing, and payout configuration.

This article will show you how to make the most efficient use of your Drivers page by using filters, custom views, etc.

How to access the drivers page?

  1. From your dashboard, select Fleet to access the Fleet module.

  2. In the Fleet module, use the left-side menu and select Drivers to access your drivers page.

What’s on the drivers page?

The Drivers page provides a complete overview of all drivers in your workspace. It displays each driver in a clear table format, allowing you to easily view and access their key details.

Inside the table view, each row represents a single driver you have added to your workspace. This row includes multiple details related to the driver, spread across different columns.

These details include:

  • Drivers’ Names

  • Drivers’ Phone numbers

  • Plate number of the vehicle assigned to your drivers (if there are any assigned)

  • Drivers’ skills (if configured)

  • Drivers’ payout (if configured)

  • Drivers’ group name (if they are part of a group)

  • Drivers’ status (On Duty / Off Duty / Disabled)

Note:

  • The list of drivers displayed on this page includes all drivers you added to your workspace, as long as they are not archived, regardless of whether they have signed up to their account or not.

  • Some of these details may not appear in their corresponding cells within the table if they were not configured.

Making the Most Out of Your Drivers Page

Your Drivers page gives you clear visibility over all drivers in your workspace. There are several features within this page that help you use it efficiently and make the most out of it. These features include searching, sorting, filtering, and saving custom views.

Searching For Drivers

At the top right side of the Drivers page, you will find a search bar allowing you to quickly search and locate drivers by entering any of the following details:

  • The driver’s name

  • The driver’s phone number

Search results update instantly, helping you save manual work and time by quickly locating the drivers you want.

Sorting Your Drivers by Name

Sorting helps you organize your Drivers list in the way that is most convenient for you.

This is possible through the ability to sort your drivers by Name.

  • Click the “Sort” button located next to the Filters button.

  • In the window that appears, choose whether you want to sort your drivers by name from A–Z or from Z–A, and the list will update instantly.

Using Filters

Filters allow you to narrow down your driver list based on specific parameters. Common filter options include:

  • Status — Filter your drivers by their status (Checked-in, Checked-out, Disabled)

  • Vehicles — Enter the vehicle’s plate number to view the driver currently assigned to it.

💡Tip: Without entering anything, you can tick the ‘Only Unassigned’ option to view all drivers who are not assigned to any vehicle.

  • Group — Type the name of a driver group to see all drivers who belong to it.

💡Tip: Without entering anything, you can tick the ‘Only Unassigned’ option to view all drivers who are not part of any group.

  • Skills — Select one or many skills to view all drivers who have them.

Note: You can apply multiple filters at the same time to get more tailored and precise results

Creating and Saving Custom Views

If you frequently use the same filter combinations, you can save them as custom views. Views help you personalize the drivers page and access a specific set of drivers in one click without having to apply the same filters every time.

How to Create a View

  1. Apply your desired filters.

  2. Click the ‘Save View’ button located right next to the ‘Filters’ button.

  3. Inside the window that appears to the left of the screen, Give the newly created view a name.

  4. Click the “Save” button at bottom right side of your screen to save the view.

After saving your view, it will appear in the views bar at the top of the Drivers page — right next to “All”, as shown in the screenshot below. You can click on the name of your saved view at any time to instantly access it.

Managing Your Views

As a part of managing your views, you can access extra actions for any saved view by clicking its name again while you're viewing it, as shown in the screenshot below.

These extra actions include options to manage and organize your views such as:

  • Edit a saved view’s name.

  • Duplicate the view by creating a copy of it.
