After creating a plan and adding shipments and agents, you can optimize the plan using the routing engine for optimal distribution.
Optimize Plan
Click on "Optimize" to use the routing engine for optimal distribution.
Take Manual Actions
Pre-assign shipments to agents. (Lock certain shipments to agents)
Reschedule pickup and delivery times.
Change address locations.
Lock entire routes.
Review Optimization Results
Once the optimization results are returned, review them.
Make Changes
Click on "Make Changes" to alter the plan or routing preferences based on the optimization results.
Tips:
1. Routing Preferences
- Customize routing preferences for each plan, including clustering, balancing, and other constraints as needed.
2. View Unassigned Shipments
- Check unassigned shipments with their respective reasons.
- After making parameter adjustments, re-optimize the plan for better results.
3. Live Shipments
- Visualize live shipments alongside new ones during optimization.
- The engine considers both already dispatched and new shipments for an updated optimized result.
4. Alter views
- Change views easily by dragging the positions of the shipments tale, the gantt chart as well as the map views
