1. Creating Plans
Navigate to the Plans page.
Click on "Create Plan" to start.
2. Plan Configuration
Add a plan name (e.g., Morning Shift).
Choose shipment types for the plan:
Deliveries
Returns
Pickups (First-mile)
Transfers (Middle-mile)
Plan Start/End Time
Specify the plan's start and end times.
Note: If agents don't have shift times, the plan time will be utilized instead.
Pickup and Dropoff Lateness
Define the extra time or grace period for jobs:
Example: If lateness is set as 30 minutes, the optimizer prioritizes scheduling deliveries within the specified time window but considers the lateness period if schedules are tight. ( 10:00-11:00 am + 30 mins grace )
3. Adding Shipments to a plan
Go to Shipments Page
Access the shipments page in your system.
Filter and Select
Use filters to find the shipments you want.
Select the shipments you wish to add to a plan.
Add to Plan
Click "Add to Plan" for the selected shipments.
Choose Plan
Select the plan where you want to add these shipments.
Save Changes
Confirm and save the changes.
4. Adding Agents to Plans
Navigate to a Plan
Access the created plan in your system.
Add Agents
Click on "Add Agents" within the plan interface.
Use Filters
Apply filters to narrow down your search for agents.
Select Agents
Choose the agents you want to add to the plan and click on confirm.
Note: Agents can be part of multiple Plans, but shipments are unique per plan.
