Creating Delivery Checklists

Delivery checklists let you define what drivers need to complete during the delivery process. This article outlines the key details required to set up a delivery checklist and how to create one.

Why Use Delivery Checklists

Delivery checklists help standardize how drivers report delivery outcomes for orders of the relevant customers or merchants, ensuring key information is captured consistently.

They improve visibility into delivery execution and reduce reliance on manual or inconsistent inputs, with drivers completing them through their app during delivery.

Example (Fuel Delivery – Upon Arrival):

When the truck arrives at the customer’s site, the driver may be required to confirm steps such as securing the truck, connecting the hose, and verifying the meter reading before and after unloading.

This ensures the delivery is carried out correctly and gives operations clear visibility into what was done on-site.

Important Note

Even if a delivery checklist is configured as required, it is only applied within non-return workflows (Standard and Merchant workflows) for orders of the relevant customers or merchants.

It is specifically relevant to delivery shipments within these workflows and does not apply to pickup or transfer shipments.

Delivery Checklist Fields & Configuration

When creating a delivery checklist, define the following fields:

  • Delivery Checklist Name
The name used to identify the checklist.
Example: “Fuel Delivery – Arrival Checks”

A brief explanation of the checklist’s purpose or when it should be used.

  • Option Selection Rules
Define how the driver selects options for each item:

→Optional selection: the driver can skip the item without selecting any option
At least one option: the driver must select one or more options
Maximum of one option: the driver must select only one option
